Taylor Made Dreams enables children with life limiting illnesses to achieve their dreams; we also source and financially support holistic therapy and counselling for the families on their difficult journey.
In essence we help the child with a life-limiting illness to write a ‘bucket list’ of things they would like to do, places they might like to go, people they might like to meet and things they may like to own.
We have a seven-seater wheelchair friendly vehicle which was very generously donated by business partners Shane Armstrong and Paul Wilcox of Blades Joinery.
Having a wheelchair access vehicle enables our TMD families to attend experience days, holidays or visits we have arranged without having the added stress of travel costs, travelling on public transport, worrying about time, and struggling with inaccessible transport.
If in the sad event the family lose their loved one, we provide them with a silver dragonfly pendant, their child’s name engraved on the reverse as a lasting memoir for them to cherish.
We also offer all out families the opportunity of a family portrait with our official photographer Anthony Elvy. After the photo shoot, the family are invited to chose their favourite image and we have it digitally enhanced onto a canvas. Just another small way to help the families create memories to hold dear forever.
